Versatile utility pads ideal for use on woodwork

Maintenance Pads are useful in many parts of the restoration process from stripping old coatings through to care and maintenance of moisturised timber finishes. They are made of plastic but they have a mild abrasive factor suited to working with wood. You use these maintenance pads in conjunction with other products and we refer to them often throughout this website.

Uses

• Small exterior stripping projects such as front doors and boats where the use of steel wool is not advised
• Applying Grain Enhancer
• Removing water stains with boiling water
• Applying wood colouring
• Cleaning up after filling holes with Cooper’s Fill-it sticks
• Cleaning moisturised timber surfaces that have been finished with Cooper’s Moisturiser-it Plus

Maintenance Pads are supplied in the Cooper’s Moisturising Finishing Pack but normally supplied as separate items for the special tasks above.

If you need to strip large exterior surfaces you may be better suited to using the Scrubber Pads or the Brass Bristled Hand Brushes (see below).
