Semi Sealer for realistic wood colouring

Semi Sealer is a special aid when you need to colour match wood. Maybe you need to add some new timber to fill a space and you want to stain this piece to match.

Semi Sealer is not a wood stain as such but a way to dilute Cooper’s Colour-it stains to get the perfect match. It’s modified oil that allows you to manage the intensity of the stain to get the desired match. When you apply mixed Semi Sealer and Colour-it to wood the effect is more realistic and natural looking.

Semi Sealer is also useful for creating artificial wood patina for new wood. Sometimes new wood is a bit light and needs a bit of richness added before finishing with Cooper’s Moisturiser. The Semi Sealer is brushed on first then Moisturised later.

Learning to mix Colours and blends with Semi Sealer needs some experimentation on trial timber to achieve the results you want.

One litre of Semi Sealer normally covers about 15 square metres, but this will vary on how you choose to use the product.
